It also includes slots for up to six SATA III drives and four M.2 PCIe 4.0 and 3.0 SSDs, which can be put into RAID 0, 1, 5, or 10 configuration and enhanced with Intel Optane technology. Additionally, its three expansion slots can accommodate up to two PCIe 4.0 x16 devices , including NVIDIA SLI graphics cards in 2-way configuration to maximize your system’s graphical capabilities and accelerate rendering times. Compatible expansion cards may be installed into PCIe 3.0 x16 slot.

Connect peripherals such as mice and keyboards to the USB 2.0 ports while reserving the USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C and USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A and Type-C ports for 20 Gb/s and 10 Gb/s compatible devices, respectively. The SupremeFX 7.1-channel audio includes a Savitech amp for rich sound that can be further enhanced with DTS Sound Unbound spatial audio technology. Aura Sync RGB Lighting

Aura Sync technology allows you to connect, customize, and control lighting equipment such as RGB LEDs and light strips on the onboard RGB headers. You can choose from a variety of lighting presets that include Static, Strobing, and Color Cycle. These presets can be synchronized with Aura-capable peripherals such as keyboards, mice, monitors, and more. The addressable RGB headers can detect the number of LEDs on a compatible device to further tailor the lighting effects.

NVIDIA SLI Support

Installing multiple graphics cards will enhance the computer’s performance for demanding tasks such as CAD, 3D rendering, video editing, and more. This motherboard supports a 2-way NVIDIA SLI configuration.

Upgrade-Friendly

  • M.2 Q-Latch makes it easy to install or remove M.2 SSDs without using tools.
  • The BIOS can be updated by copying the BIOS file onto a FAT32-formatted USB stick, inserting it into the designated port, and pressing the FlashBack button. Updates may be performed without a CPU or memory installed.
  • Pressing the Clr CMOS button resets the BIOS settings. It can also be used to reboot the PC if incorrect BIOS settings have been selected.
