Keep your CPU frosty with the single-fan NH-D15S Dual-Tower CPU Cooler from Noctua. Featuring a nickel-plated heatsink and pipes, this dual-tower cooler also sports aluminum radiators and a single NF-A15 PWM cooling fan. Providing speeds of 300 to 1500 rpm at a max noise level of 24.6 dBA, the PWM fan can be controlled directly from the motherboard. And, thanks to the included low noise adapter, users can also cap the speed of the fan at 1200 rpm, while also dropping operational noise to 19.2 dBA. This cooler also comes with extra fan clips for an additional user-installed fan for increased airflow. The Noctua NH-D15S Dual-Tower CPU Cooler is compatible with Intel LGA 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 1200, square-ILM 2011 and 2011-v3, and 2066 sockets. AMD AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, FM1, FM2, and FM2+ sockets are also supported. Additionally, AMD AM4 sockets from 2019 and later are compatible with this cooler.
Asymmetrical Layout for PCIe Compatibility
Due to its asymmetrical layout, the fin-stack of the NH-D15S is off-set towards the upper edge of the motherboard when installed in standard orientation. This allows it to clear the top PCIe x16 slot on most micro-ATX and ATX motherboards.
Improved RAM Compatibility
Thanks to its recessed lower fins, the NH-D15S provides 2.56″ of clearance for tall memory heatsinks, making it compatible with most modules on the market. As the lower fins are recessed on both sides of the heatsink, sockets with RAM on both sides are also supported, including AMD sockets and Intel LGA 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, and 2011 sockets.
Dual-Fan Ready
Using the supplied extra fan clips, the NH-D15S can be upgraded with either a second round-frame 140mm fan with 120mm mounting holes, such as the NF-A15, for maximum performance, or a common 120mm fan such as the NF-F12 for improved performance while maintaining compatibility with RAM modules up to 1.77″ high.
PWM Support and Low-Noise Adapter
The NF-A15 fan supplied with the NH-D15S supports PWM for automatic speed control through the motherboard. In addition, the maximum fan speed can be reduced from 1500 to 1200 rpm using the supplied low-noise adapter for even quieter operation.
SecuFirm2 Mounting System
Noctua’s SecuFirm2 mounting system supports Intel LGA 1200, 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, square-ILM 2011 and 2011-v3, and 2066 sockets. Supported AMD sockets include AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, FM1, FM2, and FM2+. AMD AM4 sockets from 2019 and later are also supported.
