With additional hardware, the ProDesk can be fixed to a variety of surfaces including under your desk or behind your monitor, freeing up space around your work area.
Connectivity
Support resource-demanding peripherals with the ProDesk’s USB 3.2 Gen 1 and Gen 2 Type-A ports split between the front and the back of the device. A single USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port is located at the front of the ProDesk so you can connect high-speed devices such as storage bays and hubs.
Security Enhancements
The ProDesk features an array of security and management enhancements designed to keep your software and hardware safe. Chassis padlock and TPM 2.0 prevent others from accessing your components and making modifications without your knowledge. A cable lock slot allows you to connect security devices that prevent theft. Through the BIOS, you can set up Power-on and Setup passwords as well as SATA, USB, and Serial port activation. You also get a suite of HP software including Sure Click, Sure Sense, DriveLock, Automatic DriveLock, Sure Recover Gen 3, Sure Run Gen 3, Sure Start Gen 6, BIOsphere Gen 6, and Client Security Manager Gen 6.
