Smart Fan 6 contains several cooling features that ensure gaming PCs maintain their performance while staying cool and quiet. Multiple fan headers can support PWM/DC fan and pump, and users can easily define each fan curve based on different temperature sensors across the board via intuitive user interface. Each fan header supports PWM and DC fan and Water cooling pumps, and up to 24W (12V x 2A) with Over-Current Protection.
Featuring the Smart Fan 6 BIOS UI, the fan curve can be quickly switched with Slope and Stair modes for different user scenarios. Slope is a traditional and intuitive linear fan speed curve, while with the newly added Stair non-linear mode keeps the fans at the same speed between specified temperature intervals. For advanced users, there is manual fan speed input for more precise control of the fans.
With EZ Tuning, users can place 4 EZ Tuning points at rough temperature/fan speed intervals, and Smart Fan 6 will quickly generate a fan curve. Fan curve profiles can be saved in the BIOS ROM, and the profile will be kept after updating the BIOS.
Featuring an Intelligent Fan Control Design, users can achieve fan silence. Map any fan to stop completely when temperatures drop below a specified threshold and control which fan stops and at what temperature based on readings from specific sensors.
